AWANA Clubbers, Please remember to bring in School Supplies to make up Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box Gifts. The Club with the most Shoe Box Gifts made up by Sunday, Nov. 21st will get a fun Thank You Party during Clubber Time. Our CBC goal is 2,815 boxes, so we really need your help. Thanks so much! Send your Clubber to AWANA on Nov. 7 with hard candy and/or small toys to help fill Shoe Box Gifts!
AWANA & Operation Christmas Child Team Up to Bless Needy Children Around the World
PLEASE HELP Your AWANA Club make up Shoe Box Gifts!
Whichever Club collects the most will be treated to a fun party during Clubber Time!
This year in AWANA, please help make up Shoe Box Gifts for Operation Christmas Child. For the next couple of AWANA meetings, we’d like your Clubber to bring in the following items listed below, (plus whatever else you’d like to put in the Shoeboxes). On Nov. 21st , each Club will pack their shoe boxes and deliver them to the Atrium. If you’d like to make up your own Shoe Box Gifts at home and bring them to your AWANA Club to be added to your Clubber count, please do so.
Nov. 7 Bring hard candy, small toys, etc. (Take advantage of the Halloween candy on sale or donate some of your’s!)
Nov. 14 Bring School Supplies – pencils, crayons, coloring books, notebook or filler paper, etc.
Nov. 21 Bring Hygiene Items – toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair brush, barrettes, etc.
Gift Suggestions:
SCHOOL SUPPLIES: pens, pencils, sharpeners, crayons, markers, stamps & ink pad sets, writing pads/paper, solar calculators, picture books, etc.
TOYS: small cars, balls, dolls, stuffed animals, kazoos, harmonicas, yo-yos, jump ropes, small Etch A Sketch, toys that light up or make noise (with extra batteries), Slinky, etc.
HYGIENE ITEMS: toothbrush, toothpaste, mild bar soap (in a Ziploc), comb, washcloth, etc.
OTHER: hard candy, lollipops, mints, gum (place all candy in a Ziploc), T-shirts, socks, ball caps, sunglasses, hair clips, toy jewelry, watches, flashlights (with extra batteries)
